      Performed in a contemporary and modern movement piece focused on climate crisis awareness.

    • Guest Artist | Project Awake/Abraisive Media, 2023
      Collaborated with local artists to perform in public schools across Middle Tennessee, using mime and contemporary movement to engage students.

      Created and performed a contemporary and ballet piece titled Insectum, emphasizing the relationship between insects and humanity.

    CHOREOGRAPHY & FILM

    • Wormwood (Dance Film) | 2025
      Premiered at the Dance Alabama Film Festival, accepted into the International Dance Film Festival in New Orleans (Sept. 2025). Wormwood explores themes of depression and suicidal ideation through dance and movement.

    • The Weight We Wear | 2025
      Explores the concept of gender as a coat we put on, examining how societal gender expectations regress us as individuals and as a society. The piece will be presented at the Finger Fest in Scotland.

    • Between Id & Ego | 2024
      Premiered at the University of Alabama. The work explores the tension between the true self and the self presented to the world, reflecting on the internal conflict and compulsive thoughts surrounding identity and authenticity.

    • Dead Flesh (Dance Film) | 2024
      Premiered at the Portland Dance Film Festival. Dead Flesh explores how dance and film can create visceral reactions within the viewer, focusing on the mental distress caused by trauma and its impact on the body.

    • Ego Death | 2023
      Premiered at the University of Alabama. Ego Death examines the grief and realization of needing to "die to self" in order to shed a flawed identity and embrace personal transformation.

    • Duat | 2022
      Choreographed a full-length evening performance for Nashville Dance Collective, exploring Egyptian mythology and the belief in the soul's journey after death.

    • Quintessence | United Ballet Theatre, 2021
      Co-choreographed Quintessence with James Boyd, exploring the four elements and a unique interpretation of the fifth element, space.

    • Silence | Art in Motion/Troy University, 2018
      Choreographed Silence, a modern contemporary work addressing the emotional and psychological impacts on women who have been human trafficked.

  • My work as a choreographer and educator is centered on the transformative power of dance as a tool for self-discovery and personal growth. I believe that through movement, individuals can connect with their bodies, explore their identities, and navigate the complexities of their internal worlds. Dance offers an opportunity to express and release emotions, making it a powerful means of communication and healing.

    In my choreography, I prioritize the natural movement of the body, encouraging dancers to engage with their physicality in an organic and authentic way. I create spaces where dancers can explore their movements, free from judgment, and encourage them to push beyond their boundaries to discover new forms of expression. I aim to facilitate an environment where individuals can uncover their true selves, both as dancers and as people.

    As an educator, I focus on creating a supportive community that fosters trust and connection among dancers. I prioritize mental and physical well-being, understanding the importance of checking in with dancers and accommodating their needs to ensure their long-term health. Through movement exploration, group exercises, and guided reflection, I help dancers connect with their bodies and each other, building both artistic and personal growth.

    Dance, for me, is about more than technique—it is about cultivating a deeper connection to one’s self and others. Through my work, I strive to help dancers experience the power of being fully present in their bodies and embrace the healing and joy that can come from movement. Ultimately, my goal is to empower individuals to express their authenticity and navigate the complexities of identity, self-expression, and personal agency.

      Wormwood was accepted into the International Dance Film Festival, New Orleans, showcasing themes of depression and inner dialogue through dance and film.
